WoW Midnight Gladiator Requirements: Rating, Wins and Rewards

What Gladiator takes in WoW Midnight Season 2: Elite rank at 2300 rating, 50 wins in 3v3 arena, the Goredrake mount and the Venomous Gladiator title.

4 min read

Gladiator is the top fixed goal of the 3v3 arena season. In Midnight Season 2, you earn it in two steps: reach Elite rank, then win 50 3v3 games while you stay at Elite.

The short version: reach Elite, which Warcraft Wiki lists at 2300 rating, then win 50 rated 3v3 games at that rank. The reward is the Venomous Gladiator's Goredrake mount. The Venomous Gladiator title is a separate goal for the top 0.1% of the 3v3 ladder when the season ends.

Last checked: November 3, 2026. This guide covers PvP Season 2, which started the week of August 18, 2026. Ranks, rewards and win counts come from Blizzard's Season 2 announcement. Blizzard's post names the ranks without their ratings, so the rating values come from Warcraft Wiki.

Elite, Gladiator and Venomous Gladiator

Players often use "Gladiator" for three different goals. Each one has its own requirement:

GoalRequirementReward
EliteReach Elite rank, 2300 ratingGladiator's Tabard and the Elite title
GladiatorWin 50 3v3 games while at Elite rankVenomous Gladiator's Goredrake mount
Venomous GladiatorFinish the season in the top 0.1% of the 3v3 ladder with at least 150 winsThe Venomous Gladiator title

1Climb the ranks to Elite

Every rank on the way to Elite is its own achievement with its own reward:

RankRatingReward
Combatant I1000Season 2 cloak and the Combatant title
Combatant II1200Legs and bracers
Challenger I1400Gloves, boots and the Challenger title
Challenger II1600Chest and belt
Rival I1800Shoulders, helm and the Rival title
Rival II1950Venomcoil weapon illusion
Duelist2100Gladiator's Prestigious Cloak and the Duelist title
Elite2300Gladiator's Tabard and the Elite title

Once you earn a rank, its achievement and reward stay with you even if your rating drops later.

2Win 50 games at Elite

Gladiator asks for 50 wins in 3v3 arena while your rating is at Elite rank. Only 3v3 counts. Wins in 2v2, Solo Shuffle or Battleground Blitz do not move the counter.

If a losing streak drops you below Elite, new wins stop counting until you climb back. Wins you already have stay on the achievement counter, so you do not start over.

A few habits help at this stage:

3The Venomous Gladiator title is a separate race

The title is not part of the Gladiator achievement. It goes to players who end Season 2 in the top 0.1% of the 3v3 arena ladder and have won at least 150 3v3 games during the season.

Because the title depends on a percentage of the ladder, the rating you need is not fixed. It moves as other players climb, and the title is awarded only when the season ends.

Solo Shuffle and Blitz have their own versions

Solo Shuffle and Battleground Blitz do not give the Goredrake mount, but each has a goal at Elite rank:

Frequently asked questions

What rating do you need for Gladiator in Midnight Season 2?

You need Elite rank, which Warcraft Wiki lists at 2300 rating. After that, you need 50 wins in rated 3v3 arena while you stay at Elite.

Do 2v2 or Solo Shuffle wins count toward Gladiator?

No. Blizzard asks for 50 3v3 wins. Solo Shuffle has its own Elite goal, Legend, which gives a toy and a title instead of the mount.

Is Gladiator the same as Venomous Gladiator?

No. Gladiator is the 50-win achievement that gives the Goredrake mount. Venomous Gladiator is a title for the top 0.1% of the 3v3 ladder at the end of the season, with at least 150 wins.

What happens if my rating drops below Elite?

Your Elite rank rewards stay. New wins stop counting toward Gladiator until your rating is back at Elite, and the wins you already have stay on the counter.

Can I buy Gladiator?

HideBoost offers a Gladiator boost for the full goal, Gladiator wins if you already have the rating, and a Venomous Gladiator's Goredrake boost. Buying in-game services for real money breaks Blizzard's rules, so read the risks at the end of this guide first.

When you would rather not climb alone

If you have a team and time to play, the plan above is all you need. If you have less time, HideBoost's Gladiator boost covers the climb and the 50 wins, and the PvP services include rating and gear options for the ranks before Elite.

Blizzard prohibits buying or selling in-game services for real money, and involved accounts may be penalized. Account sharing also violates Blizzard's rules. Consider those risks and review Blizzard's policy information before purchasing a third-party service.
